Annual Fundraiser Tickets Now Available

Enjoy an inspired “Jazz in the Afternoon” program, great food and wine tasting, raffle prizes and bid on exceptional auction items, at the Mt. Diablo Alternative Education Foundation’s fundraiser on Sunday, March 4, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Camellia Room, at the Gardens at Heather Farms, 1540 Marchbanks Drive, Walnut Creek. Concord High School award winning Jazz Band will preform throughout the event. Dancing is encouraged. The fundraiser benefits the Mt. Diablo Unified School District’s, Alternative Education High Schools, students, teachers and programs. The fundraiser provides funds for student college scholarships, participation in the Diablo Valley College career program and funds innovative instructional teacher projects.

The Mt. Diablo Alternative Education Foundation is a 501c(3) Public Charity. Admission per person is $25.00 for adults, $20.00 for seniors and $10.00 for students. On March 21, 2016, the Mt. Diablo Unified School District Board of Education recognized MDAEF for its 10-year contribution to students and staff in alternative high schools. Superintendent Dr. Nellie Myer made the presentation to MDAEF Board members.
